Quality for Over 70 Years
We are a traditional family-run business with decades of experience in ski instruction – now in its fourth generation. Our story began in 1950 with Karoline and Julius Seiser, the founders of the ski school and ski rental. Since then, the family business has been successfully continued: first by Felizitas and André Seiser in Mönichkirchen (from 1975), by Barbara and Dieter Pflug in St. Corona (from 1990), by Christof Seiser with the snowboard and telemark school and ski rental in Mönichkirchen (from 1995), and most recently by Fabian and Florian Pflug in Mönichkirchen, St. Corona (since 2023) and Zauchensee (new since 2024).
Our extensive expertise, gained through numerous teaching activities, national and international ski congresses, as well as our work as instructors in the Austrian and Lower Austrian Ski Instructors Association, is applied directly in our ski and snowboard lessons. Since the 2023/24 winter season, Ski School PFLUG operates as a large family business at three locations: Mönichkirchen, St. Corona am Wechsel, and Zauchensee.
Our courses and private lessons are based on the unique success concept “Ski Light – from skiing to mastering skiing.” Our team regularly participates in internal training sessions to ensure that this innovative method, based on playful learning approaches, is consistently integrated into every lesson. Depending on age, group sizes range from 4 to approximately 12 children. This guarantees a high quantity and quality of practice as well as personalized attention during lessons. With the approach “play leads to progress” and “from movement experience to movement outcome” – meaning less direct correction but many movement-based tasks – children learn skiing and snowboarding in a playful and effective way
